Greetings one and
all. Yes, it is another abbreviated
issue. I've been working--struggling really--with
this particular subject and can't get the words on the page to reflect
those in my heart. Between that consuming effort
and numerous issues at the office (they actually expect me to work,
dang it); I've not had the time I need to put together a full
issue. However, I hope you will find value in what
is here, and maybe laugh a bit.

 I've had an interesting week. While I wouldn't complain, I do feel free to say that it didn't turn out the way I planned. Thus, when I came across this cartoon I(again), I had to pass it along.

A few weeks ago, in an issue of FF, I mentioned that I love toast. TODAY one of loyal readers asked me about this love--timely as ever. She reminded me of a song by Haywood Banks that I've been a fan of for years. However, she didn't stop there, she also sent me the song and a video link to Mr. Banks performing this tribute to my culinary delight--toast. That video is this week's Media Moment...
